Sandals’ New Wedding Concept Is All About Eco-Chic Caribbean Style
At Sandals South Coast in Jamaica, the Caribbean breeze carries the sound of waves and the scent of tropical greenery. Here, a new kind of wedding scene is taking shape — one that looks as stunning in photos as it feels in the moment, and one that places nature at the very center of the celebration.
Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts have introduced Nature’s Vow, a fresh wedding inspiration designed to set the tone for destination celebrations in 2026 and beyond. It’s a concept that doesn’t just decorate an aisle but redefines it — blending earthy tones, natural textures, and eco-conscious choices to create a ceremony space rooted in the Caribbean’s landscapes. Couples can expect arches filled with lush greenery, bamboo accents, and potted palms that can be replanted long after the last toast.
It’s not just about aesthetics. Nature’s Vow is built on the idea of meaning and purpose. Marsha-Ann Donaldson, Director of Weddings and Romance at Sandals Resorts, explains it as a chance to celebrate “responsibly — in harmony with the islands we call home.” For couples, it’s the opportunity to start married life with both beauty and intention.
A Wedding Design Inspired by the Caribbean
The details reflect the spirit of the islands themselves. Each destination highlights its own native plants, whether banana and bird of paradise in Turks and Caicos, or philodendron and monstera in Jamaica. Organic bamboo, sustainable florals, and handcrafted accents come together to create an eco-forward setting where every corner feels alive.
Sandals Resorts’ Nature’s Vow joins other themed inspirations like Jamaican Tropical Hues, with its bold island palette, and Azure Tides, echoing the calm of the Caribbean Sea. This new design, however, brings an added layer of purpose — marrying style with sustainability.
Weddings With Purpose
Nature’s Vow also builds in ways to give back. Guests can take part in a Symbolic Tree Planting Ceremony, adding shade and supporting biodiversity through the Sandals Foundation. Local artisans contribute handcrafted keepsakes that double as wedding favors, while wedding garment donations help fund food programs and shelters. Even reception leftovers are transformed into organic fertilizer for resort gardens.
These touches allow couples and their families to walk away knowing their celebration left a positive impact — on each other and on the islands themselves.
A New Wedding Offer
To mark the launch, Sandals and Beaches Resorts are offering a complimentary Sweetheart Wedding package for couples booking at least seven nights in a Club or Butler Suite. The package covers a celebration for up to 10 guests, complete with a ceremony location, décor, dinner party, wedding cake, a dedicated pre-arrival planner, and a $400 photography and videography credit.
