Delta Air Lines Is Adding New Nonstop Flights to Nassau, The Bahamas This Winter

Nassau is heading into the winter season with a major boost in air service, as Delta prepares to launch and expand several nonstop routes from key U.S. cities. Beginning Dec. 20, travelers will see new direct connections from the Upper Midwest, expanded daily service from Detroit and fresh Saturday flights from Boston and New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Delta’s Nassau schedule will shift significantly beginning 20 Dec. 2025. The airline will introduce new nonstop service from Minneapolis, giving the Twin Cities a direct Caribbean connection on Saturdays throughout the winter.

Detroit, one of Delta’s strongest Midwest hubs, will see its Nassau flights expand to daily service beginning the same day, creating one of the most robust Upper Midwest–Bahamas links for the season.

Two additional gateways will join the schedule next year: Boston–Nassau and New York LaGuardia–Nassau, both operating on Saturdays. The focus on weekend frequencies targets high-demand leisure travel while broadening the airline’s Northeast footprint.
