Delta Is Adding a New Caribbean Island With Waterfalls, Beach-Hopping and Luxury Hideaways

Delta is launching new nonstop service from Atlanta to the island of Saint Vincent, opening up a fresh, seamless connection between the United States and one of the Caribbean’s most untouched destinations.

The new flight, which begins in late December, will operate daily between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Saint Vincent’s Argyle International Airport, giving travelers a direct route to the southern edge of the Lesser Antilles during the heart of winter.

It’s the first time Delta has flown to Saint Vincent, and the new route instantly becomes the only nonstop service on Delta from the U.S. mainland to the island. 

The flight will run through mid-April, giving travelers a four-month window to explore the beaches, waterfalls and mountain trails of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines without the need for connecting flights or long layovers.

For an island long known for its authenticity and quiet beauty, this marks a turning point. While nearby islands have seen a steady stream of nonstop flights over the years, Saint Vincent has remained a little off the radar—accessible, but not quite easy. This new service changes that.

Now, a morning departure from Atlanta means arrival in time for a late lunch by the sea. The return is just as effortless, with an afternoon flight from Argyle bringing you back to the U.S. in time for dinner. It’s the kind of schedule that makes weekend getaways possible—and longer stays even more tempting.

The route is part of a broader expansion of Delta’s Caribbean network this winter, as the airline responds to growing demand for destinations that offer both natural beauty and room to breathe. And few places fit that description better than Saint Vincent, with its black sand beaches, dramatic coastal hikes and quiet bays ideal for sailing or doing nothing at all.

The first flight touches down on December twentieth. And for Saint Vincent, it’s a long-awaited arrival.

The flight starts at around $519 roundtrip, according to Google Flights data. That’s if you book an economy ticket.
