How Air Caraïbes and Caribbean Airlines Are Making the Caribbean Easier to Reach From Europe

For travelers in Europe, the Caribbean just got closer. Caribbean Airlines and Air Caraïbes have signed a new codeshare agreement that links Paris-Orly directly to the wider Caribbean through seamless connections in Martinique and Guadeloupe.

It means that a traveler boarding in Paris can now check in once, collect all boarding passes up front, and have their bags transferred automatically onto connecting Caribbean Airlines flights. From there, the network opens—whether the final destination is Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, or any of the airline’s other gateways across the region.

The move blends Air Caraïbes’ long-haul reach from Paris with Caribbean Airlines’ deep regional coverage, creating a continuous path for leisure seekers and business travelers alike. More importantly, it offers Europeans something they have long sought: easier, faster access to the diversity of the Caribbean, with coordinated schedules designed for smooth onward connections.

Air Caraïbes says the partnership strengthens its Caribbean DNA while expanding its footprint beyond the French territories. Caribbean Airlines views the agreement as a natural extension of its “Welcome Home” philosophy—only this time, welcoming visitors from Europe into the Caribbean.

Bookings are already open through Caribbean Airlines’ call centers, city ticket offices, and travel agents, with online sales to follow soon. For travelers in Europe, the promise is simple: the warmth of the Caribbean is now just one ticket away.
