Saily eSIM Rolls Out In-Flight Plan

International eSIM brand Saily did something really cool recently — they quietly launched an in-flight internet package, making travel connectivity that much easier.

Saily is one of the most popular eSIMs for Japan, and this is a neat little add-on to their already strong offering.

What to know about Saily’s in-flight eSIM internet

Here are the salient points about the in-flight option for their eSIM:

  • A Saily eSIM can be used for in-flight internet on selected international flights (not all flights)
  • It can be used once the aircraft has taken off and reached cruising altitude
  • To use the in-flight internet function, you need to open the Saily app on your phone and tap “Add Data”, then select “In-Flight”
  • Important: You need to buy and activate a data package that includes the in-flight plan before boarding your flight
