Taylor Swift Dream Honeymoons | Dream by Luxury Escapes
Unless you hadn’t heard, the world’s biggest popstar, Taylor Swift, just broke the internet with news of her engagement to NFL footballer Travis Kelce. Naturally, our thoughts immediately turned to the best part of a wedding, the honeymoon: which resort could be fit for the ultimate power couple?
Scroll on for the world’s most epic escapes, that would tick all their boxes for luxury, romance and privacy.
For next-level Maldives luxury: Soneva Fushi

With a long list of past A-list residents, it’s fair to say Soneva Fushi has been tried and tested when it comes to celebrity-grade luxury and privacy (if it’s good enough for Madonna…). In one of the most spectacular destinations on earth, this resort could see Tayvis zip-lining through the treetops to the Flying Sauces restaurant, enjoying private dining on a sandbank in a lagoon or even glass blowing (Ghost-style, we like to think).
The nine-bedroom Villa 11, which is more like its own little village, is nothing short of epic. We’re talking a private pool with a water slide (we can picture Trav spending hours going up and down, weeee), a spa area for couple’s massages, in-villa yoga, a private chef on-hand, an outdoor shower and an alfresco jacuzzi tub off the master bedroom. It even has separate guest suites if they wanted to invite some friends along (there’s a children’s room with nanny quarters for Jason and Kylie Kelce and their kids).
For private island seclusion: VOMO Island, Fiji
Privacy will be of the utmost importance for this high-profile pair, so a far-flung private island paradise in Fiji could be the perfect match. The VOMO resort, part of the sought-after Mamanuca Islands, is one of the most exclusive Fiji has to offer.
Of its private residences, The Reef House is the largest and most luxurious: this palatial five-bedroom pad opens onto a 100-metre beach and features myriad luxuries like a charcoal-lined infinity pool and butler service (not to mention a SONOS sound system, should Taylor wish to listen to her own back catalogue she just purchased). When they’re ready to leave their love bubble, there’s a world-renowned surf break, Cloudbreak, for Trav (he’s an active guy, we imagine he couldn’t stay on his lounger for too long), some of the best diving you’ll find among crystalline waters and coral reefs, and gourmet picnics on secluded beaches, where staff supply you with a two-way radio for anything you might need.
For Eden on earth: One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritius

Mauritius, an island country in the Indian Ocean off the coast of East Africa, is a honeymoon destination that ‘never goes out of style’ (a 1989 reference for the Swifties among us). With its dreamy combination of natural beauty worth writing lyrics about (think powdery soft sand beaches, volcanic peaks, sugarcane fields, leafy rainforests and coral reefs), and ultra-romantic resorts, it’s a postcard-perfect playground where unforgettable moments unfold.
For luxury befitting of Tay Tay, we’d look no further than One&Only Le Saint Géran. Here, the couple could be welcomed by their own personal host to a six-bedroom oceanfront private home, complete with its own kitchen and wine cellar, heated infinity pool and an ocean-view master bedroom. The newlyweds could spend their days cycling, kayaking through the mangroves, taking a helicopter tour over the jewel-like ocean and ‘underwater waterfall’, or indulging at the Spa by Guerlain with French-inspired couple’s rituals (we just know Trav would be down for a spa day).
For a once-in-a-lifetime experience: One&Only Gorilla’s Nest, Rwanda

As worldly, well-travelled mega stars, the lovebirds could be looking for something extraordinary to grab their attention – and this resort offers just that. On the edge of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Africa, this one-of-a-kind escape offers an experience only enjoyed by a privileged few: seeing mountain gorillas up close in their natural habitat, from private treehouse accommodation.
Far from their frenetic lifestyles, the Eras tour and latest football season, here Taylor and Travis could truly relax in the cradle of nature, surrounded by misty volcanic mountains, blooming roses and fragrant eucalyptus. When it comes to accommodation, the resort’s crown jewel is the ultra-private Silverback Suite. With sweeping forest views from the private pool, a romantic fireplace, a private terrace with a fire pit, private chef dining and an in-suite wellness station with yoga mats and an exercise ball, this love nest is perfect for… monkeying around.
For Greek glamour: Porto Zante Villas & Spa, Zakynthos, Greece

Where better to honeymoon than the home of the Greek god of love, Eros? Dubbed ‘Europe’s most private resort’, the super exclusive Porto Zante Villas & Spa sits on the white sands of a secluded beach lapped by turquoise waters, on the Greek island of Zakynthos (also known as Zante). Frequented by royals, presidents and other A-listers (although you’re never likely to catch a glimpse of them), this luxe boutique hotel has the seal of approval when it comes to discrete service.
The accommodation of choice for such guests is the Imperial Spa Villa, which is essentially a private estate, set in tropical gardens with its own stretch of beachfront, and sweeping views over to Kefalonia and the Peloponnese. Cocooned by tall walls and iron gates, high-profile residents are blissfully undisturbed here. There are two heated hydrotherapy pools (perfect for a pro sportsman and high-octane performer), a three-bedroom main villa and a separate guest villa, five bathrooms lined in antique Dionysian marble, walk-in wardrobes and a living area with a romantic crackling fireplace. Now that’s amore.
For an Australian odyssey: Longitude 131° & Orpheus Island Lodge

We already know Tay Tay is a fan of Australia (she treated her family and crew to a break at the uber-exclusive Qualia on Hamilton Island, Queensland at the end of her 1989 tour in 2015), so perhaps a visit with Travis could be on the cards for their holiday of a lifetime.
We’d recommend continuing her Queensland discovery at Orpheus Island Lodge, a paradisical private island that’s covered in 1,000 hectares of lush national parkland and fringed by the Great Barrier Reef. Accommodating just 28 guests at a time, they could easily hire out the entire island, living in barefoot luxury and dining on produce from the onsite veggie garden and seafood from the ocean.
For a taste of this vast country’s diversity, stop two could be Longitude 131°. From its incredibly privileged spot among the dusty red dunes of the outback, this boutique stay offers unparalleled, uninterrupted views over Uluru. This is glamping like you’ve never seen before, with the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Dune Pavilions looking straight at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed icon. Experiences like private helicopter tours, camel rides and luxury four-wheel-drive tours are designed to acquaint guests with the beauty and spirituality of this ancient land – and would make for some awe-inspiring honeymoon photo backdrops.
