The best family hotels in Paris 2026

It is a very rare treat to find a fully furnished kids’ club in Paris. But to find one with aquariums of acyloxyl and jellyfish and afternoons filled with crafting beeswax candles and flower crowns, puts it up there as one of the most covetable family hotels in Paris. As one would expect from the upscale LVMH-owned brand, rooms come at a premium here, with suites overlooking the bubbling Seine, starting at 1950 euros. However, here, arrivals in the lobby filled with glorious artworks by Vik Munoz and Georges Mathieu are greeted by one’s own Majordome, a butler for the stay. The Patou-clad Mary Poppins will escort children to the kids’ club, or to the secret lift that transports guests straight into the Samaritaine department store, where the hotel is situated. They will show you to the Peter Marino-designed room, where a teepee adorned with the custom horse print awaits with a colouring-in pad of the hotel’s highlights, bespoke CB pencils (the smartest back-to-school accoutrement), chocolate cookies, a Linzer cake with horse motif and a huge white horse emblazoned with their name.

The kids’ club is staffed from 2pm-7pm every day, a fantasy world of bees with honeycomb detailing on the walls, a rack of stylish dressing up clothes and next door, a marine themed room where activities include painting the Eiffel Tower or science experiments. A highlight is a massage in the Dior spa, for a young massage, anointed with the signature Baby Dior Le Lait Très Tendre Daily Moisturising Milk alongside storytelling by the masseuse. Afterwards, it’s a skip to the epic 30 metre pool with a moving mural by Oyoram, creating a televisual representation of the Seine, complete with setting sun at dusk and darting birds.
