Victorinox Pays Tribute to Peruvian Artisans
Celebrating Peru’s rich cultural legacy, Victorinox has unveiled a limited-edition collection of its iconic Swiss Army knives, designed in tribute to traditional Peruvian craftsmanship. In partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), this exclusive release highlights three cherished symbols of Peruvian artisanal heritage: the Retablo Ayacuchano, the Torito de Pucará, and the Tumi.

Victorinox, a brand embraced by Peru for more than a decade, presents this collection as a gesture of appreciation. Fusing artistry and tradition with its signature precision and quality. “At Victorinox, we recognize the deep symbolic and artistic value of Peru,” says Karl Kieliger, General Manager of Victorinox LATAM. “This collection seeks to honor that cultural richness by merging timeless traditions with Swiss precision in a collection that stands for identity, heritage, and excellence.”
A Collector’s Piece Rooted in Culture
The Artesanías del Perú – Edición Exclusiva features six multifunctional tools across two of Victorinox’s most iconic models: the Classic (58 mm) and the Climber (91 mm). Each knife is adorned with one of the three representative Peruvian designs and includes specially designed packaging and official certification.
Developed in close collaboration with PROMPERÚ and the General Directorate of Handicrafts, the collection proudly carries the Marca Perú, celebrating national craftsmanship on a global scale. Adding to the uniqueness, the first 1,000 units of the Climber 91 mm edition include a collectible sterling silver 950 plaque engraved with the official Artesanías del Perú logo, attached via the knife’s key ring.
