Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks in Las Vegas This Year
Las Vegas Blvd
Or you can opt to get a dinner reservation at restaurants with superb strip views like The Mayfair Supper Club next door at Bellagio Las Vegas, The Beer Park restaurant across the street at Paris Las Vegas, or GIADA at The Cromwell. Keep in mind that the fireworks only last about 10 minutes, so be sure to peek outside at 9 p.m. or you’ll miss the spectacle.
Resorts World Las Vegas
3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Much further north on Las Vegas Boulevard, Resorts World Las Vegas will host its own custom fireworks show, also at 9 p.m. As home to three casino hotels—Hilton Las Vegas, Conrad Las Vegas, and Crockfords Las Vegas—there are no shortages of rooms, or viewing spots, for 4th of July. Guests who book certain 4th of July room packages will get VIP access to rooftop fireworks viewing parties included in their stay. After the fireworks, Resorts World will continue to get “Hot In Herre” as rapper Nelly will be performing at Zouk nightclub on property.
Also of note: Kelly Clarkson is kicking off her residency “Studio Sessions” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on July 4 and 5. Tickets are still available for the 4th but her 90-minute show starts at 8 p.m. meaning it end at 9:30 p.m. when the fireworks have ended. It will be your call over what’s more important: fireworks or “Since U Been Gone.”
Where to watch fireworks in Downtown Las Vegas
The Plaza Las Vegas
1 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
The Plaza Las Vegas continues to be the only host of the downtown fireworks show, and is about 15 minutes from Caesars Palace. The fireworks spectacular is set to start at 9:15 p.m. from the hotel’s South Tower and will be visible from anywhere downtown. The Plaza is hosting several parties on-site, including a wing-eating competition and a rooftop pool party while the Legacy Club on the 60th floor at Circa Las Vegas will once again host its Star-Spangled Glamour party beginning at 7 p.m. Over at The Golden Nugget, the hotel’s legendary shark tank waterslide will be open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4 to those age 21 and over who reserve a daybed, cabana, or a table.
The Fremont Street Experience
Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
Just when you thought downtown couldn’t get any brighter, the Fremont Street Experience will continue its summer concert series under its iconic neon canopy with country star Craig Morgan who will hit the stage right before the fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Where to watch fireworks in Las Vegas, off the Strip
Summerlin & Henderson
It’s fair to say that 9 p.m. will also be the magic hour at off-the-Strip resorts in Summerlin and Henderson, where fireworks will go off at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino, Durango Casino & Resort and The M Resort, all about 30 minutes from the Strip. These family-friendly resorts will have premium viewing parties starting at 7 p.m., for a fee, while the fireworks are free to watch throughout the individual resorts.
Lake Las Vegas
A little further outside of Las Vegas, about 45 minutes away, is Lake Las Vegas, a master-planned resort community that makes the hedonism of Las Vegas seem very far away. The annual Lake Las Vegas community fireworks will go off at 9 p.m. and the show can be seen from everywhere in the area, although guests who book rooms at the Westin Lake Las Vegas and Hilton Lake Las Vegas may have the best, and comfiest, perch.
