First Fall Foliage Forecast Announced for 2025
The first fall-foliage forecast for Japan is out! The Japan Meteorological Corporation released its predictions for peak autumn-leaf viewing, or kōyō, on September 2nd, covering more than 3,500 locations across the country.
While the intense heat of summer will mean that some areas see the colorful leaves later than usual, in Tokyo the best time to see fall foliage is expected to be around November 30th this year, which is pretty normal.
